Hello fellow tumbling folks I come from the large city of  Voorhees with great tidings, actually there are no tidings, just a few words of what my life has thrown in my path since last time my words have plastered the walls of the tumblverse. It has been a good 2 months since tumbling seriously and today is when my plans are focusing on continuing. Between working two jobs and school a festive summer is what should be on the horizon. Summer is always a time where things can get out of hand and fun, also a lot of crazy happenings. Only time will tell, but my stories will be written in full detail on here. Hope everyone is doing well.

Its a glorious beautiful Thursday afternoon and I’m on my padio reading from the late great Langston Hughes and as a realization comes into my thought process. The stories he tells are not much different from the ones that I hear my friends and family tell me all the time. It is funny how our technology has shot through the roof when it comes to evolving; however humanity has stayed the same for thousands of years… 

Today was a good day!! (Ice Cube Voice) and now I will finish it off with a blog post that I believe many can agree with but few really believe if that even makes sense. We all have that one thing that can make us drool, can make us fall in love in a matter of seconds about a person and today I will give you the juice on what mine is, and that is a strong woman.

Now before you start envisioning the last chick you saw watching the iron woman competition please be advised that that is not what I am referring to (I mean unless that is your thing, do what you do). When I refer to a strong woman I am talking about those women who are determined to be more than what is expected of them from day to day. We have the basic female who can spend hours on social networks and discuss her need of a good man and health relationship as she posts new photos of her 20 new outfits she can’t afford with her cleavage out and duck lips popped out for those 100 likes from creepers, TURN OFF! These are not the women I am referring to of course, the ones I’m rambling about are usually unseen by the average facebook stalker.

These are the thug mistresses who get up early for the hard grind everyday of the week. The females who get the job done ten fold sweating their weave out knowing its cool because she can afford to get it redone later. The sista who strive for greatness in improving herself from exercising her body and mind from jogging that extra mile, to sitting down and shutting out the world by reading a book. The woman who are not afraid to speak their minds; however are classy enough to speak it with some dignity. These bombshells are beautiful in so many ways not just so they can scoop up a good catch of a man, but because they want to become better for themselves. These women can turn a brotha on faster than the sound of an Xbox logging on; although they do not seem to not know it 80% of the time, that’s a problem.

So I’m writing this post to get the word out to yall brothas who may read this to get the word out to these girls that they are doing their thing. You see a woman getting her jog on in a cold day, shout out a “you go girl!” See a mother keeping her kids in check at the store while she juggles her grocery shopping and cell phone call give her a thumbs up. You got a chick who you work with and she is on time and prime everyday make sure she knows you are glad she’s there besides the fact that she’s a nice piece of eye candy. Though at first they may think you may be a little strange at first, they will be thankful for the fact that you notice that they are more than the average woman.

Whether she is a CEO of a 500 club business, educator of your local high school, college student, or a steady workaholic these women are BAD!!!! (the good kind) And no, I am not writing this to get play, this is from the heart, being raised by two of those types of women myself. I know this is tumblr and there are mostly females who will see this, but just know that yall are appreciated by us men, and that yall  break our necks everytime yall walk by.

A 5k Obstacle course through Maryland and the best part…you also have to run from the hundreds of zombies on staff during the event, plus beer and food!!! And they say the zombie apocalypse is a bad thing?!!?! I start my training ASAP!!!

• It normally turns awkward and fades out.
